[ Simon's voice isn't panicked as he leaves a message on Sam's phone. Wait, that's a lie. It totally is. ]

Sammy? Something's happened. Jo's hurt. I need you to find Maxine and bring her to my room? Please? Hurry.

[ The hang-up afterwards is abrupt, but he hopes Sam will forgive him for not being polite, considering. ]

[ BIlly is irate and you were supposed to answer Sammy. He is huffing like he is walking because he's going down to the beach. ]

So, apparently if you go eat in the dinning room you are compelled to tell the truth. Too bad I'm not compelled to throttle gods from alternate universes into walls because that would feel so good right now. I mean who does he think he is manipulating me to see if the truth spell was happening to everyone? I mean, he's Loki of course he manipulates people but he wasn't supposed to be a prick to me. Now I feel-

[Whoops he went on too long with that rant. ]

[Sam gets the message later, and calls Billy, a little guiltily. He should have answered but with everything that's going on with Jo and Dean, well, he's a bit distracted.]

Hey. Sorry.

I mean, you totally could throttle him. That seems like a throttleable offense?

When Sam leaves his room the morning of the 28th he'll find a very badly wrapped box with a note. Inside the box is a simple knotted bracelet.

The note reads:
Sammy, this is to protect you when I'm not around. It has some of my magic in it and a protection charm. Also I thought it would look nice on you.
Love- Billy

When Sam puts it on the bracelet will shimmer blue and he may feel the magic settle over him. If anything or anyone were to attack Sam the charm with make him invulnerable for a short time the attack bouncing back onto his attacker. Long enough for Sam to get away and find safety. So don't go fighting back Sammy.

[Sam calls Billy once he's found it, the bracelet sitting snugly on his wrist.]

Thanks. I love it! Did you- you made it for me?

[Billy grins.]

Yup! I had a little help but yeah. It should keep you safe, well safer.

It's great! Thank you. So what, if I get fireballs thrown at me they'll just bounce off?

...where would someone get fireballs to- no, I don't wanna know. If someone is throwing fireballs at you and you aren't running we have bigger problems.

[He's half kidding and half very serious because he knows you Sam.]

I dunno. It is Wonderland and people can do weird stuff. Fireballs seem as likely as anything else.

If someone throws fire at me I promise I will run. Honest.

That's true. I just hope now that we mentioned it we don't get fire raining down from the sky for the next event.
